Fans of And Just Like That… have flocked to Twitter to demand justice for Steve Brady after the latest heartbreaking episode saw him refuse to take his wedding ring off despite being left by Miranda Hobbs.
Viewers of the series have been watching Steve and Miranda’s marriage breakdown on the spin-off from Sex And The City.
In recent episodes, Miranda had told Steve she wanted a divorce, having admitted to an affair and falling in love with comedian and podcast host, Che Diaz.
While much of episode nine sees Miranda navigate her new relationship with Che – and getting a few things wrong by publicly labelling herself Che’s girlfriend – viewers were particularly heartbroken when Steve turns up to help the ladies paint a women’s shelter.

Carrie, who had been mulling over whether to take her wedding ring off after Mr Big’s death, is cornered by Steve, who asks her whether she knew about Miranda’s affair with Che.
He also asks whether Carrie – played by Sarah Jessica Parker – knew Miranda wanted to be with women, with Carrie uncomfortably answering: “All I know is what she told me. It’s not about being with women, it’s about being with Che.”
A kerfuffle arises with some paint and a sink, and Carrie is devastated when she loses Mr Big’s wedding ring down the plug – but not to worry, handyman Steve is there to retrieve it.
Here comes the kicker – the pair share a sweet moment of reflection and when Carrie asks Steve whether he’d like to meet someone else, he refers to his wedding ring and says it is “never coming off.”
The heartbreaking moment caused an outpouring of love from fans on Twitter, who demanded “justice for Steve” over the way he’s been treated by Miranda over the series.
“Justice for Steve!! #AndJustLikeThat Never like Miranda. Never will,” one fan wrote.
Another added: “Justice for Steve. Miranda is so annoying in this reboot.”
“If this show wants us to cheer for Miranda and Che, they have to stop making Steve so lovable,” another added, “Steve has always been so sweet and caring. His innocent looking face and charming voice. #AndJustLikeThat Justice for Steve!!!”
Another simply wrote: “I felt Steve in that moment #andjustlikethat”
While fans were upset at the thought of Steve being alone, it remains to be seen whether Miranda and Che go the distance.
