“We didn’t find her true love on that series, but Alison had gone through some very personal bereavements during her time on the series, which is every credit to her for sticking with it.

“But I would love Alison to come back on, I think she might be up for it potentially… I think she would be an absolute hoot to have back on the show, if not, just for her laugh!”

Talking about keeping in touch with all the celebrities once each series ends and if they still ask for advice, Anna said: “In the last couple of weeks, I’ve spoken to Alison Hammond, Kerry Katona, Sophie Hermann, Pete Wicks.

“Some of them are just passing ‘hi’s’ and particularly when they see the new series come on they all get quite nostalgic about it. But they’re quite keen on going, ‘Oh gosh, this is happening…’ It’s lovely, actually.”

With co-star and fellow show expert Paul Carrick Brunson adding: “That’s what’s so nice about it. It’s not just a show. We’re basically saying we’re here to help you for life and they still keep in touch and still ask questions.
