To which Faye sweetly commented: “Isn’t she amazing?” and praised Liberty’s routine as “insane”.

While Kaz added: “She literally smashed it, we were sitting here getting nervous like: ‘Oh my God!’ and then she just smashed it.”

It comes as Dancing On Ice viewers were quick to react on Sunday night after Liberty performed her opening skate to Little Mix hit Shout Out To My Ex.

Fans will recall that Liberty ended her romance with Jake Cornish just days before the Love Island 2021 final with the two parting ways for good in September.

And during Sunday’s show, Liberty took to the ice for the first time with pro skating partner Joe as they performed a routine to Shout Out To My Ex.

For the skate, which received 26 points out of 40, Liberty appeared to make a nod towards her time on Love Island as she also wore a red ensemble with a diamond heart on it.

Viewers were quick to react to the song choice following the reality star’s split from Jake, 24, as they took to Twitter to share their thoughts.

One person said: “Omg Liberty dancing to Shout Out To My Ex #DancingOnIce #DOI.”

A different account put: “Liberty really skating to ‘shout out to my ex’ #DancingOnIce.”

While a different show watcher added: ‘Liberty dancing to shout out to my ex on #DancingOnIce is such a VIBE.”

It comes after Liberty ended her romance with Jake just days before the Love Island final in August, saying: “I just don’t feel like you love me for me and I want someone who loves me for me.”

While during the Love Island Aftersun reunion, which aired in September and Jake missed due to illness, Liberty said that in terms of love with her ex it is the “end of their journey”.

During the episode, it showed Jake and Liberty reunite in a pre-recorded segment as they spoke about their relationship since leaving the villa as she confronted him for not making any effort to make it “work properly”.
