Liam Payne among mourners at Tom Parker’s funeral as fans line street to say goodbye


Liam Payne has been seen attending Tom Parker’s funeral.

As hundreds of emotional The Wanted fans lined the streets to say a final farewell to the star, One Direction’s Liam could be seen saying his goodbyes.

Liam, 28, wore a black suit and looked solemn as he joined other mourners.

Tom’s The Wanted bandmates carried his coffin and were filled in emotion in heartbreaking scenes.

Tom Parker’s wife Kelsey Hardwick was seen supported by family too, as she followed her late husband’s hearse on fan-lined streets.

Heartbroken Kelsey led The Wanted star on his final journey at his funeral, after his tragic death after he was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour.

Kelsey could be seen filled with emotion as she walked behind the hearse.

Seen wearing all black with a sparkly blazer over the top, the mum-of-two wore large glasses and clutched the hands of those next to her.

Heartbroken fans wiped tears from their eyes as they stood on the streets as Tom’s coffin went past.

As the hearse arrived to collect Tom’s coffin, emotional scenes saw a stunning red and white floral heart carefully arranged on top of the vehicle, with his name on the front.

Horses and a carriage were also parked behind waiting to begin their journey to the church.

Another heartbreaking design saw the words “Glad You Came” – also one of the band’s most famous songs – created in white flowers.

Instead of extra flowers, Kelsey requested donations to brain cancer research.

Ahead of the service, the grieving widow posted a message on her Instagram page showing the details for her followers.

“Thomas Anthony Parker. There will be a private celebration of life on Wednesday 20th April,” she said.

“We know many of you would like to pay your respects as well, so would love for you to join us in Petts Wood from 10am.”
