Former Love Islander Montana Brown has shared a candid snap of what it’s like living with a nut allergy.
Montana, 26, was tasked with sharing the first photo from her favourites album on her phone, which was one of her in hospital with a red and swollen face after having an allergic reaction.
She penned alongside the throwback snap: “This is nice isn’t it… Me in hospital as I ate a tiny bit of chocolate with nuts in it.”
“Nut allergy sufferers I stand with you.”
Montana added: “Can we all just zoom into my left ear, it’s swelled so it looks like a cauliflower ear,” followed by a laughing face emoji.

Proving that she’s currently fit and well, Montana later shared a mirror selfie of her in the gym where she donned a pair of black leggings, and a matching black top.
Earlier this month, the 26 year old revealed her New Year’s resolutions after jetting off to Barbados over the festive period for some winter sun.
Sharing a photo of her in a black swimsuit and sun hat, Montana wrote: “Barbados was dreamy but now time to work hard and kick it HARD this year. My New Years resolutions are to be more disciplined with the things I have to do but don’t want to, carve out more time for things that I love doing like playing netball, get back into playing piano and golf.”

She went on: “I have some other pretty exciting goals for this year but gotta keep you on your toes! Happy new year everyone. Sending everyone big big love and just a tip, no dream is too big!”
Montana is often candid about certain aspects of her life, and last year reflected on how she was mentally struggling.
She wrote at the time: “Trigger warning: transformation Tuesday time… I was looking back at old pictures of myself and I cannot believe my weight.

“My anxiety was so bad and I did not know how to handle it, it was always in my stomach so I completely lost my appetite when I was struggling mentally.
“It makes me so sad to look back at pictures as I didn’t quite realise how bad it was.”
Montana further reflected on how she knew she “wasn’t eating and I knew I wasn’t coping” at the time the photo was taken, but spoke of her gratitude for being able to “ move forward mentally and physically.”
