Kate had received concerned messages from fans following her absence on social media, which she explained was down to her focusing on spending time with her family after being separated from them during isolation.

“Thank you for all your messages checking in! I appreciate you all,” Kate wrote as she posted a photo of an arrangement of white roses.

“I’ve been fine, I had COVID (I had to isolate) & then have been enjoying getting back to normal life & spending time with my family.”

The fitness enthusiast also returned to working out following having covid, documenting her trip back to the gym 14 days later.

She admitted her first day back was “hard” and that she had “a real lack of enthusiasm.”

Despite her initial struggles, Kate completed her gym session and now appears to be back to health and enjoying family life with husband Rio Ferdinand, their son Cree and her stepchildren Lorenz, 15, Tate, 13, and Tia, 10.

This follows a candid post Kate shared on social media before falling ill about how she has been dealing with being part of a blended family.

“I often can’t believe my luck, I have all three of the things I have always dreamed of but weirdly at times I feel like it’s not really mine,” she said.
