Strictly’s Johannes Radebe says John Whaite made ‘beautiful impact’ on his life


Strictly Come Dancing pro Johannes Radebe has sweetly praised his celebrity dance partner John Whaite .

Johannes, 34, and John, 32, made it to the BBC One final earlier this month where Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice were crowned the winners.

Taking to Instagram on Thursday, Johannes sweetly commented on the “beautiful impact” John had made on his life.

Posting pictures from their time on the BBC One dance show, Johannes penned: “SOME PEOPLE ARRIVE AND MAKE SUCH A BEAUTIFUL IMPACT ON YOUR LIFE, YOU CAN BARELY REMEMBER WHAT LIFE WAS LIKE WITHOUT THEM.

“I managed to watch the finale of strictly with my family and friends back home in South Africa, it was lit! @john_whaite they are desperate to meet you hun’.

It comes after Strictly judge Motsi Mabuse was left sobbing over John and Johannes’ Showdance to You’ve Got The Love by Florence + the Machine during the emotional finale earlier this month.

John is Strictly’s first ever all-male same sex couple with professional dancer Johannes and an emotional Motsi thanked the duo for “changing lives”.

She said: “You know what I’m thinking? What a great time it is to be part of Strictly on this day… to have seen you, to have seen Rose, to be sitting here and saying: ‘I am a part of that’, we’re changing so many lives with this dance show.

“This felt like it was for all of us, not just your journey, all of us and every single person in this show, everybody in the background and everybody here in front of the cameras. Thanks you for that so much…”
